Flagstone Patios and Walkways
Natural random-shape and square cut flagstone laid as patios, walkways and landings, on a base built for the load it carries.
Flagstone is flat, split stone laid as a surface. Natural flagstone comes in random shapes fitted together on site. Cut flagstone comes in squared pieces for a tighter, more formal pattern.
We supply the stone and lay it dry on a compacted base, so the surface drains and can be lifted and reset if it ever needs to be.
What We Provide

Base and Drainage
Flagstone lasts when the base under it does. The area is excavated, a granular base is compacted in layers, and the stone is bedded on a levelling layer. Thinner stone suits walkways and pathways; thicker stone takes heavier loads.
Equipment
Excavation to depth, a plate compactor for the base, and a saw for cut edges. Heavier and thicker stone is moved by machine.
